Andhra Bhavan Helpline to Assist Telugus Stranded in Nepal
New Delhi/Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government established an emergency cell that witnessed civilian unrest, which was trapped in Nepal in the new Delhi andhra Bhavan.
Andhra Pradesh Bhavan commissioner Arja Srikanth said that Prime Minister N Chantrababu Naidu asked the Unity Minister of Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu and Andhra Bhavan officials to expand all possible support.
In a press release published late on Tuesday, Srikanth said, “Given the ongoing unrest in Nepal, the Andhra Pradesh government established an emergency cell in the new Delhi in Ap Bhavan.
According to Srikanth, the Embassy of India in Katmandu in Nepal provided full cooperation, and Bafal is currently helping food, accommodation and medical assistance.
The commissioner said that an official was appointed as an emergency nodal officer in AP Bhavan.
He said that the government -led government’s government is in constant contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu to monitor the situation and protect the people of Telugu.
He added that several Telugu families in a hotel in Kathmandu were shifted to a nearby guest house after the reports of agitators gathered outside and threatening the swaddles.
The Emergency Cell provides the embassy and local representatives to ensure the security and prosperity of the Telugu people in Nepal.
