Andhra CM Tells District Collectors

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Prime Minister N Chandrababu Naidu led the regional collectors to continue the ‘Swachandhra’ (Temiz andhra) program in the state.

“The government launched an ambitious plan to combat old waste by cleansing 85.90 lacquer metric tons of old garbage and 30 lakh metric tons by December 2025 until October 2, 2025,” he said.
The old waste refers to the old municipal solid waste that has accumulated for many years in open castings or storage areas without appropriate treatment.
He said that the reclaimed land will be reused efficiently and that the recycled lands will be processed in compost and processed as a garbage derivative fuel (RDF) given to cement factories.
