Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister urges people to buy Made-in-India products, says GST 2.0 will boost growth

On Monday, Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu called on Monday that GST 2.0 reforms would encourage economic growth and call the citizens to call the national economy into a higher orbit.

Speaking at the Legislative Assembly on the GST application program of the state government, Naidu said that the government has established a minister’s committee to ensure that the benefits of reduced GST to reach the masses. “Our aim is to raise the living standards of the poor and the middle class. With GST, Super Six and P4 programs, it will help to reach Swarna andhra vision until 2047,” he said.

The Prime Minister said that small enterprises will earn significantly from reduced GST rates, and that most tax on most basic goods will put more money on ordinary people. He added that GST 2.0 will increase the ease of doing business and that Indian products will create opportunities for the global brands.

Mr. Naidu stressed that the purchase of Indian products contributes directly to national development. The State Government prepared an action plan to introduce 65,000 meetings and awareness program from Dasara to Deepavali.
