Social media influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested by federal authorities in Miami on Saturday, the U.S. Marshals Service said.
Charges against the couple were not immediately disclosed. Brady McCarron, a spokesman for the police chiefs, said the arrest warrant was sealed.
According to a person familiar with the matter, they were arrested following an extradition request from the United Kingdom; The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case publicly.

Additional charges against Tristan Tate, 38, include one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.
The charges stem from incidents that allegedly occurred from July 2010 to August 2017, according to the CPS report.
Malcolm McHaffie, head of the CPS’s special crime section, said: “We have decided to prosecute Andrew and Tristan Tate for further offences, including rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation and offenses relating to indecent images of a child.”
“These charging decisions follow the receipt of a new evidence file from Bedfordshire Police, bringing the total number of alleged victims in this case to seven.”
The hypermasculinity advocate brothers, who have millions of followers on social media, are wanted in England.
The CPS had already charged Tates with 21 offenses including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking in a separate case.
Andrew Tate faces 10 charges in the original case, including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain. The charges are linked to three alleged victims.
Tristan Tate faces 11 charges, including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking, and the charges are linked to an alleged victim. The brothers denied all wrongdoing.
A superior court judge recently rejected Tates’ legal request to be told the names of his female accusers.
The two men were also charged with human trafficking, rape and establishing an organized crime group in Romania following their arrest in December 2022.
