Andrew forces Edward and Sophie to ‘use holiday let’ after ‘refusing to leave farm’ | Royal | News

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh had to stay at Sandringham for the Easter break due to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Prince Edward and Sophie wanted to stay at Wood Farm, where the former Duke of Kork lived, for the weekend but had to opt for a nearby cottage as Andrew allegedly refused to leave the property.

Andrew is staying at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, and his new permanent residence, Marsh Farm, is undergoing renovations. Andrew was told to leave his previous abode, the sprawling 30-room Royal Lodge at Windsor, in October; because it was confirmed that he would be stripped of his royal titles during investigations into his connections with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Edinburghers have reportedly been forced to stay at Sandringham’s Gardens House, costing up to £4,110 a week in peak season.

“Andrew has been evicted from Royal Lodge in Windsor but now has two houses in his possession,” an insider said Sun This spoiled the story.

“It goes back and forth between Wood Farm and Marsh Farm.

“Edward and Sophie need to be ranked based on how they like using Wood Farm.”

Gardens House sleeps eight and is located a few hundred meters from the main building of Sandringham House.

The Sun reported on Friday that Edward visited Andrew for a “quiet talk” about his brother completing his long-awaited move to Marsh Farm.

Andrew is accused of “dragging his feet” about moving to his permanent address.

It is claimed that the former prince has received hundreds of boxes of his belongings in recent weeks and that a move to Marsh Farm is “imminent”.

He is believed to have spent Easter at Sandrigham Manor and was seen walking his dogs on Saturday.

Edward and Sophie joined the rest of the Royal Family for the traditional Easter Sunday church service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
