In the video, the software engineer is seen sitting on top of his car, constantly flashing his mobile phone’s flashlight for about two hours, balancing himself on the car that was drowning in the water drain, but the help signals were not seen by the authorities.
In an update on the case, Noida Police has arrested two more builders in connection with the death of a Noida resident. “The arrested accused have been identified as Faridabad resident Ravi Bansal and Ghaziabad resident Sachin Karnwal,” a police official told PTI. he said.
According to authorities, both men arrested are linked to real estate developer Lotus Greens but nothing is known about their names in the company.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on Tuesday retrieved the car of the deceased 27-year-old technician from a water-filled pit at a construction site in Sector 150 in Greater Noida.
Noida Police arrested Abhay Singh, CEO of real estate firm MZ Wiztown Planners, in connection with the 27-year-old techie’s car falling into a water-filled drain in Sector 150.
The victim’s father accused the authorities of not taking timely action and claimed that timely action could have saved his son. “If expert divers had been able to get in, maybe my son could have been saved. While the car was drowning, Yuvraj continued to cry for help,” he told reporters.
