Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor faces another blow next month after he is allegedly excluded from a major family event. The former Duke of York, who lost his royal titles and his home at Royal Lodge last year following various scandals, is reportedly not on the guest list for a major family wedding.
The happy couple will exchange vows at All Saints Church in Gloucestershire, five years after Peter divorced from his first wife Autumn, with whom he had two daughters, Savannah and Isla.
Although the wedding will not be televised and will be set as a private event, Great Britain News reports Almost every senior member of the Royal Family is expected to be present.
This list will reportedly include King Charles and Queen Camilla, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales.
This will be a major blow for Andrew, who has been told he will not be included in the celebrations.
This is because Andrew has been deliberately alienated from the royal family since last year when The Epstein Files destroyed his reputation. Andrew denies any wrongdoing and accusations against him.
Gerard Franklin said in a statement for the couple at the time: “Her Royal Highness the Princess and Mr. Peter Phillips, son of Captain Mark Phillips, and Miss Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr. Rupert Sanders and Miss Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, today confirmed their official engagement.”
An official statement later confirmed: “Both families have been jointly informed of the announcement and are delighted with the wonderful news of their engagement.
“Their Royal Highnesses the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales have been informed of the announcement. No date has been officially set for the wedding.”
