Two charged with murder of singer Ian Watkins in Wakefield Prison

Two men have been charged with the murder of pedophile singer Ian Watkins, who was killed in Wakefield Prison.
The former Lostprophets frontman, who is serving a 29-year prison sentence, was fatally injured in the incident at the prison just after 09:30 GMT on Saturday.
Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43, have been charged with murder and will appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning, West Yorkshire Police said.
Watkins was jailed in 2013 for a string of sexual offenses against children, including the attempted rape of a baby.
Watkins admitted to attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under the age of 13, but pleaded not guilty to rape.
He also admitted conspiracy to rape a child, three counts of sexual assault involving children, seven counts of receiving, making or possessing indecent images of children and possession of an extremely pornographic image involving a sexual act on an animal.
