AP Building Future-ready Quantum Workforce: CM Naidu

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday announced the Quantum Vision of the state to launch the greenfield capital Amaravati, which will host Quantum Valley as one of the top five quantum computing hubs in the world.

Addressing thousands of students virtually, the prime minister underlined that the southern state will work to develop next-generation skills, create thousands of high-value jobs, adopt a product-focused approach, develop all types of quantum computers and achieve a complete supply chain in quantum computer production.

“Andhra Pradesh Vision: Quantum Valley in Amaravati. Andhra Pradesh will not follow, we will lead… Everyone is ready to manufacture quantum computers in Amaravati. Almost all 80 percent or 85 percent component partners are ready,” Naidu said.

Stating that quantum computers will be produced in Amaravati within two years, the CM added that anyone who wants to establish any information company or technology should come to Amaravati.

Additionally, Naidu promised a reward of 100 crore rupees to anyone who receives a Nobel Prize in quantum computing for their research conducted in Andhra Pradesh.

He also advised students to move away from traditional thinking and choose an innovation and product-oriented future.
