AP EAGLE Team Wins 2 Medals At Police TT Meet

: AP EAGLE Police team created history by bagging two bronze medals in table tennis events at the 2nd All India Police Badminton Division 2025-26 tournament held in Lucknow from May 9 to 13 under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Police.
This achievement marks the first time that the Andhra Pradesh Police department has won a medal in table tennis at the national level All India Police sports tournament.
Senior police officers representing AP Police displayed impressive skill and determination during the competition. AP Eagle Chief and IGP Aake Ravikrishna along with Eagle Additional SP Swaroopa Rani clinched the bronze medal in the Mixed Doubles category after a strong performance against top competitors from across the country.
The AP team continued its success in the Women’s Doubles category. APPA SP T. Shobha Manjari and Additional SP Swaroopa Rani clinched another bronze medal for Andhra Pradesh with a commendable performance.
Police officials termed this achievement as a milestone for the AP Police Department and stated that this was the first occasion when senior officers from the state police won two medals in a single All India Police Table Tennis tournament.
Speaking on the occasion, AP Eagle Chief IGP Ravikrishna expressed gratitude to state DGP Harish Kumar Gupta for encouraging and supporting the team’s participation in the national tournament.
