Trump hails relentless bombing of Iran alongside Melania and giant Easter Bunny as kids descend on White House

Donald Trump has praised the relentless bombing of Iran alongside a giant Easter Bunny as hundreds of children flock to the White House for the annual Egg Roll.

The President was joined by Melania on the balcony overlooking the South Lawn and spoke to attendees about the ongoing conflict, including a daring rescue mission over the weekend to rescue an airman lost behind enemy lines.

“How about the rescue that happened yesterday, that’s something you rarely see,” Trump told the crowd Monday, adding that it was accomplished despite a “very powerful” enemy.

“They’re not as strong as they were about a month ago,” Trump said, referring to devastating U.S.-Israeli attacks that have broken Iran’s leadership since February 28.

The president also told reporters at the event that he tried to provide weapons to the Iranian people so they could help him bring about regime change in the country, but the plan went awry after the weapons were stolen by a middleman.

‘You know we sent some weapons… these were supposed to go to the people so they could fight against these bandits… but the people they sent to hold them.’

‘I feel very sorry for a certain group of people and they will pay a big price for this,’ he added.

Reports earlier this year indicated that the CIA intended to arm the Kurds on Iran’s northern border with Iraq as part of the war. During the event, Trump reiterated: ‘We have had a total regime change.’

The president also took aim at former rival Joe Biden.

Speaking to a child at the drawing table, the President told the young people how Biden would sign executive actions and legislation from time to time.

“Biden couldn’t sign his name so they followed him with this big machine,” he explained to the boy.

Trump also signed some of the drawings the children presented to him.

“I can sign autographs for you and you can sell them on eBay tonight for $25,000,” he said to the young people.

As military marching bands sparkled against blue skies, families dressed in pastel suits and bright summer dresses filled the South Lawn of the White House on Monday for the annual Egg Roll.

Those who attended were lucky enough to score the highly sought-after tickets, which were distributed to Trump administration employees, friends and those lucky enough to win the ticket lottery.

While Eric and Lara Trump brought their children Luke and Carolina, some of the President’s grandchildren also attended the meeting, Tiffany Trump and her husband Michael Boulos were seen with their son Alexander.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller and his wife Katie were also seen with their children; Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was seen with her son Niko. FBI Director Kash Patel, his girlfriend, country music singer Alexis Wilkins, and other top officials were there.

The rolling on the White House lawn began in 1878 under the administration of President Rutherford B Hayes, after disgruntled lawmakers in Congress banned children and their parents from throwing eggs on Capitol Hill, citing concerns about little feet damaging landscaping.

These days the event draws tens of thousands of people to the White House; Here, parents socialize while kids hunt for real eggs and a Trump administration official prances around dressed as the Easter Bunny.

The main event is Easter Egg Roll, a traditional game in which decorated, hard-boiled eggs are rolled across the White House lawn using only a spoon. This tradition historically symbolizes the rolling of the stone from Jesus’ tomb.

Celebrating America’s 250th birthday this summer, the White House wanted the Easter event to be filled with patriotic displays.

The eggs on the roll are all dyed red, white and blue.

Less patriotic, arguably more American, are the many corporate sponsors flocking to the event: Meta held a booth on artificial intelligence, YouTube handed out promotional bags, the New York Stock Exchange sponsored a challenge coin creation station, and, of course, Coca-Cola provided beverages, including Diet Coke, a Trump favorite.

Music was provided by the Revolutionary War, which recreated the U.S. Marine Band, Army Band, Navy Band, Air Force Band, and the Army Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps.
