Army investigates helicopter flyby at Nashville home

The U.S. Army is investigating an apparent weekend flight of the unit’s Apache helicopters over the singer’s home town of Nashville, Tennessee. Children’s RockHe is a key supporter of President Donald Trump, a military spokesman said Monday.

“This is a level of respect for minds that the Governor of California will never know,” the singer wrote in one post, referring to Gov. Gavin Newsom, Trump’s staunch Democratic critic. “God bless America and all who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend it.”
“The army is aware of a video circulating on the Internet showing AH 64 Apache helicopters “It was operating near a private residence in the Nashville area,” Army spokesman Maj. Montrell Russell said in an emailed statement to CNBC.
“Army aviators must adhere to strict safety standards, professionalism and established flight regulations. An administrative review is ongoing to evaluate the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements,” Russell said.
The spokesman added: “If any breaches are identified, appropriate action will be taken. No further comment will be made until the review is complete.”
Kid Rock’s X posts were made on the same day as anti-Trump “No Kings” demonstrations took place across the US.
