Arrest after man’s body found in home at Morwell, Victoria

A man has been arrested by homicide detectives after a body was found at a home in Victoria’s Gippsland.

Police found a 58-year-old man unresponsive at a house in Langford Street, Morwell, just after 3.30pm on Sunday.

The man died at the scene.

A 43-year-old Morwell man was arrested a short time later in Latrobe Crescent, Traralgon.

Police said they expected to interview the man later Monday.

It is believed that the two people knew each other.

The crime scene is still available and investigations are continuing.
