Arrests after woman dies in hit-and-run
Two people have been arrested after a woman in her 20s died in a hit-and-run crash in Wolverhampton.
West Midlands Police said the woman was struck by a blue Audi Q2 on Birmingham Road near Johnson Street shortly after 10pm on Saturday and she was confirmed dead at the scene.
Following an appeal for information, police arrested a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They remain in police custody.

The police spokesman said that a vehicle thought to have been involved in the accident was seized as part of the investigation.
