Arsenal win the Premier League – how the Gunners celebrated title win

Arsenal The players were photographed outside the Emirates Stadium at 05:00 BST after becoming Premier League champions for the first time in 22 years as their celebrations continued.
Eberechi Eze posted photos on Instagram in the early hours of Wednesday showing him standing outside his stadium in North London alongside teammates Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber.
On Tuesday night, as rivals Manchester City played Bournemouth, fans gathered outside the stadium and surrounding pubs, needing a win to keep the title race alive.
In the end, Pep Guardiola’s side could only manage a draw, confirming Arsenal as champions for the first time in 22 years.
As the whistle blew on the south coast, there was an explosion of cheering in pubs in north London as Arsenal fans celebrated a moment they felt might never come after narrowly missing out on the last title.
Celebrations were also held at the artillery training ground.
This was where the Arsenal team gathered for the evening and, as in the pubs, the final whistle was met with huge celebrations. Players and staff chanted “Campeones, Campeones, Ole Ole Ole!” They danced and embraced while chanting slogans.
Last month, Arsenal captain Declan Rice was seen insisting “it wasn’t done” following Arsenal’s defeat to Manchester City. But on Tuesday, when the title race was decided, he posted a photo of players celebrating on social media and captioned it: “It’s Over.”
The title came in Mikel Arteta’s seventh year in charge and underlined what can be achieved if a manager is given time.
Former Premier League goalkeeper Paul Robinson told BBC Radio 5 Live: “Mikel Arteta has been there for the long haul. The best gift you can give a good manager is time.”
“Yes you can give them hundreds of millions of pounds but you have to turn that money into a team, a dressing room and a winning side.
“Do you make time for a good manager? There’s proof of that.”
