World Cup 2026: BBC last-16 TV picks include England v Mexico

England’s match against Mexico is one of four World Cup last 16 matches to be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with all eight games to be broadcast on BBC Sport.
The Three Lions set up a meeting with the hosts of the tournament by beating the Democratic Republic of the Congo 2-1 in the last 32.
They will meet at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City (Monday, 6 July, 01:00 BST).
BBC will also be covering the France v Paraguay match on Saturday (22:00); La Albirroja eliminated Germany on penalties in the previous round and are looking for another scalp against the 2022 World Cup champions.
European champions Spain will face Iberian rivals Portugal or Croatia in Dallas on Monday, July 6 (20:00), and this match will also be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
You can also watch co-hosts USA take on Belgium (Tuesday, July 7, 1am), as Mauricio Pochettino’s side aim to continue a historic run in the tournament.
The remaining four last 16 ties will be shown on ITV.
