Assam police arrest 133, seize over one tonne of suspected beef in statewide raids
A senior police officer said a driving throughout the state to control the sales of beef sales in illegal cattle and restaurants.

A few kilograms of beef was saved.

Protest BJP

Among the congress workers, including the Secretary of the Gobal Regional Congress, Pallab Chetia and Rahul Phukan, the son of a former block congress secretary,. According to Biswajit Phukan, both are partners of Gaurav Gogoi, President of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC).
