Disgraced Andrew Mountbaten Windsor slapped with riding ban after arrest | Royal | News

An embarrassed Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is no longer allowed to ride horses after his favorite pastime was banned.

A source told The: Sun: “He has been ordered not to ride since his arrest last week. This is considered a bad look. They do not think he should be seen grinning and smiling on his horse as he was at Windsor.”

“But it was one of the few things he actually enjoyed doing, so what will he do with his time?”

This means the former prince, 66, effectively stays at home with only his dogs at Wood Farm, including his late mother’s two corgis.

The riding ban comes after another hobby of his was put to an end last year when his gun license was voluntarily surrendered to police.

The Sun also reported that, in rare good news for the former Duke, engineers installed high-speed internet on the nearby road yesterday.

Wolferton, on the Sandringham estate, was cut off for a month last autumn and the district council has pushed for full fiber service.
