At least two killed in Toronto street festival shooting

At least two people died in a shooting attack at a street festival in Toronto.
Police in the Canadian city first received reports of an active shooter on St Clair Avenue, where the salsa festival was being held, at around 20:12 local time (01:12 BST).
Five victims were found with gunshot wounds and two people were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police said they had secured the scene but urged the public to avoid the area, where a large police presence will remain. They added that more information will be forthcoming.
Located in downtown Toronto, St Clair Avenue is full of shops and restaurants.
From July 11 to 12, St Clair Latin was scheduled to host the Salsa festival, an annual celebration featuring live music and dance performances.
The festival was held for the 22nd time this year.
