Aurum strikes 23g/t gold at West African gold project

Dr Caigen Wang, managing director of Aurum Resources, said: “We again reached shallow high-grade gold intercepts at BMT3 with 3.60 m @ 13.88 g/t gold at Boundiali. This high-grade gold intercept is located outside the existing MRE and lies ~100 m north of 3.1 m @ 70.78 g/t gold from 112.90 m at MBDD2914.”

The latest findings add to the notable good-grade hits previously reported in the BMT3 deposit area, including outstanding catches of 277.54 g/t over 1.19 m, 274.89 g/t over one metre, and 350 g/t gold over 0.8 m in a wider 3.8 m zone that assayed 73.82 g/t gold.

These figures underline the scale of the opportunity in the wider area and point to the strong potential for exceptionally rich pockets within the wider mineral system. Gold mineralization at BMT3 remains open along strike and at depth, highlighting a significant upside for resource growth.

Aurum has recently increased drilling capacity at the site by adding two new rigs, taking its fleet to 12 rigs and putting the company on track to drill more than 130,000 meters at its Boundiali and nearby Napié project by the end of the year.

With a healthy cash balance of almost $43 million, Aurum remains well-funded to continue its aggressive exploration program, including ongoing resource expansion drilling, testing new targets and advancing known prospects.

The company is planning significant resource updates in the first quarter of next year for both Boundiali and the separate nearby Napié project, alongside the results of an ongoing pre-feasibility study (PFS) for an open pit development at Boundiali.

As investors’ appetite for gold stories in West Africa grows, Aurum’s aggressive yet methodical approach to exploration appears well-timed. Mineralization remains open in many directions, drill rods are rotating on an expanding front, and a healthy cash balance ensures the company is well positioned to pursue meaningful resource growth at Boundiali and nearby Napié through 2026.
