One man is dead and two injured in Murwillumbah, NSW shooting and hit and run

One person died and two others were injured in a shooting incident in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.
Emergency services rushed to a property on Tyalgum Road in Eungella, about 10km west of Murwillumbah, at around 1.25pm on Wednesday.
Officers were told two men, aged 41 and 38, were allegedly shot by another man who fled the scene along with a fourth man.
Medical teams treated the old man injured by a bullet, but he died at the scene.
A police spokesman said the man had not yet been formally identified.
Police were called to a second incident after a 45-year-old man was allegedly hit by a car on Tyalgum Road.
It was learned that the person who was treated at the hospital was under police surveillance.
A 38-year-old man was also treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound.
A police spokesman said they were waiting to speak to the men to determine how they were injured.
“Police are working to locate a fourth man, believed to be 37, who we believe may assist with investigations,” a spokesman said.
