Further 24 people charged with terror offences over support for Palestine Action
24 people were accused of supporting the banned group Palestinian action.
Since the group was banned in July, a terrorist group was banned to prosecute the total number.
The latest accusations come before a protest that more than 1000 people expect more than 1000 people to be gathered in the London Parliament Square and “I oppose the genocide. I support Palestinian action”.
F Frank Ferguson of the Royal Prosecutor’s Office Service said, uz We continue to make rapid decisions in all cases where arrests were made and expecting more accusations in the coming weeks.
“The people have the right to protest in this country in a peaceful way, and thousands of people continue to do so regularly without breaking terror laws.
“However, Palestinian action is now a prohibited terrorist organization and those who choose to support the group will be subject to criminal proceedings within the scope of the Law of Terrorism.
“When protest behaviors are guilty from legal activity, we have the duty to apply the law.
“People should take into account the real life consequences of choosing to support Palestinian action and continue to call on people very carefully about the actions of protests before the weekend.”
Meanwhile, the Metropolitan police warned that those who support the Palestinian action in the protest on Saturday will be “arrested” and that many people are expected to participate.
“The Palestinian action is a group that is banned by the British government. It is a criminal offense to be a member of IT or to support it, Ade said Adelekan, the assistant commissioner of Met.
“Those who participated in this protest and those who participated in such protests do so knowing that their actions are illegal.
“If you support the Palestinian action in accordance with the law of terrorism, you will be arrested.
