Angus Taylor claims Australians are ‘deeply concerned’ about indoctrination in the classroom
In Angus Taylor’s lengthy interview, Peta Credlin took the new opposition leader through several other culture war issues, including school curriculums; in which he suggested that children should not be “brainwashed” in the classroom and that “Australians are deeply concerned about this”.
I think our education system, our school system and our tertiary system, has been drifting in that direction for a long time… We need to reassure Australians that their children will be educated, they will be taught about our great nation, warts and all, but they should celebrate our country as part of their education and not be brainwashed.
We’ve heard the word brainwashing before – former Liberal leader Peter Dutton he also said children were being brainwashed but claimed he had “no proposal” to change that.
Taylor says net zero ‘gets out of our system’

Net zero is still dead, if not more dead Angus Taylor‘s Liberal party.
When Susan Ley In announcing the party’s commitment to lower net zero in November, he continued to warn that net zero would still be a welcome outcome “if we can get there through technology, through elections and through voluntary markets.”
Taylor now wants to abandon net zero terminology altogether, telling Sky News: Peta Credlin Thursday night:
I think the starting point is to get the net zero ideology out of our system… We have uranium, we have coal, we have gas, we have renewables, of course people are rapidly putting solar cells on their roofs, it is this mix that will bring us the solution.
The government and experts have argued that renewable energy is the cheapest form of electricity.
