Multiple people have been stabbed in a horror incident on a train heading to Huntington, Cambridgeshire. British Transport Police confirmed the arrest of two men. An update on X reads: “We are currently responding to an incident where multiple people have been stabbed on a train to Huntingdon. Officers are present alongside Cambridgeshire Police.”

The LNER website confirmed emergency services were dealing with an incident between Stevenage and Peterborough. Trains running between these stations may be delayed or revised by up to 60 minutes and all lines are currently closed while the incident is dealt with. “A major disruption is expected by the end of the day,” the statement said.
