Australia v England scores, results, start time, wickets, teams, how to watch
Australian bowler Josh Hazlewood has suffered another injury that puts his fitness for the remainder of the Ashes series in doubt.
It could reveal that Hazlewood, who is recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in last month’s Sheffield Shield match against Victoria in NSW, has picked up a new low-grade Achilles injury.

Cricket Australia confirmed the news on Friday. A timetable has not been set for Hazlewood’s return to play but he is expected to return to bowling next week.

Hazlewood, who was ruled out of the first two tests against England, was due to travel to Brisbane with the Australian squad to continue his rehabilitation but this imprint could reveal the trip has been canceled due to the new injury. He will remain in Sydney for now.
The third Test against England begins on December 17 but there are concerns Hazlewood may not be available until the Boxing Day Test or later.
“Josh Hazlewood reported Achilles soreness this week during his rehabilitation from a recent hamstring injury,” a CA spokesperson said. “This is a low-grade issue and he is expected to resume running and bowling next week.”
