Stokes knew exactly what he was doing with another delivery aimed at Starc’s stumps. That’s why the England captain is screaming like a banshee in the middle of the Adelaide Oval.
He literally gets angry at himself, throws down his bat in dejection and curses for most of the 66-metre walk to the boundary.
It’s easy and right to admire his whole-hearted refusal to bow to Stokes because it’s so obvious. He carries his emotions very openly.
