Australia vs England third test day 4 cricket scores, results, start time, wickets, teams, how to watch, Adelaide Oval

Our cricket writers have their say on whether this match will end today.

I will put your opinions below, please add your vote to our poll.

Daniel Brettig: Yes. There’s plenty of room for Australia’s attack in the right areas of the field and it’s a much better day for bowling too. With an extra half hour for a result, there will be around 75 overs on offer.

Dan Walsh: Yes. For the third Test in a row, by unanimous agreement we will have a third finish of the late session, the absolute worst result for a press box aimed at exemplifying Adelaide’s evening hospitality. England will look to surpass that target in 90 overs at most and will be 200-odd short. 435 is of course the famous goal set by Ricky Ponting against South Africa in 2006. Australia’s 434 in the first innings was the biggest ODI score at the time. It took 49.5 overs.

Tom Decent: No. I have a sneaking suspicion that this match will continue until the fifth day. Today will be England’s day. On a good pitch, a few things will go right and the dream will continue. I still think Australia will continue to win tomorrow, but the tourists are ready to give them a scare. I still come to the conclusion of the fourth day!
