Katherine Deves’ awkward estimates, and cringey authoritarianism

This question arose from a rejection letter sent by eSafety in response to Deves’ freedom of information request requesting all documents mentioning him (of course), which were rejected on the grounds that there were too many documents to comply with, specifically “16,000”.

This response led Deves and his supporters to accuse the eSafety commissioner of “monitoring” “e-waste” and what is said on the internet.
