Trump says he’ll ‘remember’ companies that don’t seek tariff refund

President Donald Trump told CNBC on Tuesday that he would “gratefully remember” U.S. companies that did not seek refunds for tariffs he unilaterally imposed that were declared illegal by the Supreme Court.
Trump’s “Squawk Box” comment came a day later US Customs and Border Protection opened a portal Importers are expected to seek potential refunds of more than $160 billion for so-called IEEPA tariffs.
