Australian fugitive being helped to evade capture, police say

Police said that a smuggler allegedly killed two officers in a small rural Australian town in Victoria, said that some members of the society were helped by some members of the society.
Disi Freeman has been fleeing since last Tuesday when he arrived at Porpunkah property to conduct a search order in a sex crime investigation.
Mr. Freeman, a known conspiracy theorist, fled to thick bushes surrounding the property with a great human hunt for him on his seven days.
His wife Amalia Freeman called for condolences to the families of the alleged civil servants.
Victoria police who previously wanted Mr. Freeman to surrender before, says the 56 -year -old child is still not seen.
In an update on Monday, Inspector Brett Kahan said, “People know where the two policemen are.” He said.
He continued: “You are committing a very serious crime by hosting or helping in the escape of Dezi Freeman.”
He refused to indicate how many people were suspected or whether they were indigenous in the town of Porpunkah or nearby areas.
The police arrested and released Mrs. Freeman and a 15 -year -old child while raising another Porpunkah property on Thursday night, but did not provide additional information.
Freeman said that he and his children “respected the important work of Victoria Police and did not have anti -authority views in a statement published by his lawyers”.
Heavy armed police, helicopters and armored vehicles are now exploring the area where DEZİ Freeman disappeared for almost a week.
The murders revived questions about how Australian officials cope with the threat of conspiracy theorists three years after a similar police ambush in Queensland.
Mr. Freeman had long adopted the views of the “sovereign citizen” and had a well -documented authority hatred.
Victoria police said that a comprehensive risk assessment was carried out before going to the property of 10 officers, but expert police support was not requested.
