A British Airways pilot has reportedly been arrested over allegations he secretly filmed sex sessions with up to 16 women. It is claimed that the unnamed pilot shared the images on the internet without the women’s permission.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed an investigation had been launched. According to reports, the allegations against the pilot were made after he learned that images of partners and ex-partners’ sexual encounters were being shared on websites. The charges are alleged to be from women aged 24 to 36.
Sun The report found that airline stewardesses warned each other about the pilot and his alleged secret filming plans.
He was believed to be courting women from other airlines in hotels between flights, the newspaper reported.
According to The Sun, one alleged victim said: “I was being recorded during sexual acts without my consent.
“I didn’t realize it until another woman in the same position mentioned it to me.
“During sexual intercourse, he would put his laptop in front of us with the music on but the screen off. Now the images have surfaced on the internet and it has been revealed that he did this to 15 more women.”
Another woman reportedly claimed she used tape to cover a light that indicated the laptop’s camera was on.
A Met Police spokesman said: “Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on Thursday, March 5, on suspicion of voyeurism.
“The arrest came after an allegation made to the police on Tuesday, March 3, that the videos were shot and distributed without permission. The man was released on bail while investigations continue.”
The Sun also reported that industry chiefs had received reports of allegations the pilot had used cocaine.
A spokesperson for the UK Civil Aviation Authority told The Sun: “We cannot comment on individual cases, but reports of substance misuse are being investigated and any appropriate action will be taken.”
It was claimed that the pilot, who was provided with medical support, was stopped and his flight was suspended while the police investigation was ongoing.
