Baby delivered onboard Murdeshwar-Bengaluru train at Bantwal Railway Station in Karnataka

A pregnant passenger delivered a baby on the train with the help of railway staff at Bantwal railway station in Karnataka on the evening of April 26.

According to a statement from the Mysuru division of South Western Railway, pregnant passenger Ponnamma was traveling in the general coach of the train running between Murdeshwar and Bengaluru. When the train reached Bantwal railway station at 7.22 pm, the woman was found to be in distress and suffering from heavy bleeding.
