Dhurandhar trailer launch postponed

Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna and R Madhavan starrer Dhurandhar is one of the most awaited movies of this year. The action thriller is scheduled to hit theaters on December 5. On November 12, the trailer of Dhurandhar will be released at a grand event at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) in Mumbai. Approximately 2000 fans were expected to attend this giant event.

However, the makers postponed the launch of the trailer following the explosion in Delhi on November 10. At least 10 people were killed and more than 30 injured in a shocking explosion near the national capital’s iconic monument, the Red Fort, on Monday evening. The incident is being investigated as a terrorist attack by investigation and intelligence agencies.

The makers posted the following statement on their social media handles: “Important Update: Dhurandhar trailer launch, scheduled for November 12, has been postponed as a mark of respect to the victims and families affected by yesterday’s Delhi blast. The revised date and details of the trailer launch will be shared soon. Thank you for your understanding. Jio Studios, B62 Studios and Team Dhurandhar.”

Dhurandhar is the second film directed by Aditya Dhar, who made his directorial debut with the blockbuster Uri: The Surgical Strike in 2019. Aditya even won the National Film Award for Best Director for the film Vicky Kaushal, which grossed over 340 crores worldwide. He also co-produced Dhurandhar with his and his brother Lokesh Dhar’s company B62 Studios as well as Jio Studios.
