Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi met with Indian industry representatives at the FICCI business interaction and emphasized that peace and stability have been established in Afghanistan and called for stronger economic ties with India. Bilateral trade has already reached $1 billion and several Indian companies, including KEC, Max Hospital and Amity University, have resumed operations in Afghanistan. Afghan FM, while emphasizing sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, logistics, aviation, agriculture and banking, called on India to invest in Afghanistan’s mineral resources and facilitate trade through the Wagah border, the fastest trade route.
