Telangana Grants MoS Rank to Dayakar, Balmoor Venkat
Hyderabad: The Telangana government has conferred the rank of Minister of State on Government Whips Addanki Dayakar and Balmoor Venkat, who are MLCs.
The two MLCs have been appointed as Government Whips of Telangana Legislative Council with effect from 18 March 2026. Following their appointment as Government Whips, the government granted Minister of State status to Dayakar and Venkat and they will come under Article 18 of the State Severance Order.
The above position is personal for the respective dignitaries during their tenure. There will be no formal changes to the State Order Table.
All Secretariat Departments, Heads of Departments, Collectors and District Magistrates, Commissioners of Police and Superintendents of Police are requested to extend accordingly the protocol and other courtesies required pursuant to a government order.
