Apple AI strategy and investment was in the minds of analysts upon a call for a profit after the company declared its third quarter earnings, which showed that total income increased by 10% annually.

Although Apple will never announce major purchases or initiatives in a call for earnings, CEO Tim Cook’s statements on Thursday confirm that the company will invest more in technology.

Cook said Apple will grow the company’s artificial intelligence investments “significantly”. He added that Apple wants to buy a company of any size that can help develop AI offers.

Cook, “We are very open to M & A, which accelerates our roadmap.” He said. He continued: “This year, although the nature of what we have acquired so far, we are not stuck in a particular company.”

Cook said Apple has purchased seven companies so far this year, but not all of them focused on AI. Cook said that in the past, Apple has always evaluated potential purchases of all sizes, while the biggest acquisition of all time was Beats Electronics for $ 3 billion in 2014.

Apple made statements on Thursday, as it faced the increasing pressure from Wall Street to catch up with Wall Street peers from Wall Street.

Apple has never been the biggest deer among major technology companies about capital expenditures. In June, he reported only $ 3.46 billion capital expenditures. The last quarter costs have been the highest since the quarter ended in December 2022.

This was hardly compared with Google, who predicted Microsoft’s $ 30 billion capital expenditure guide for Microsoft’s $ 30 billion capital expenditure guide for Microsoft’s $ 30 billion for Microsoft last week for Mali 2025 last week.

More spending

Cook, “We increase our investment significantly. We did in June quarter. We will do again in September quarter.” He said.

He added that Apple reorganized the personnel built in order to focus more on AI.

“We also re -allocate a large number of people to focus on the AI characteristics within the company.” He said. “We have a great team and we put all our energy behind.”

To be open, Google and Microsoft are running cloud businesses that rent AI hardware that Apple has not done. And Apple Finance Chief Kevan Serekh said that the company is a “hybrid” model of capital investments and gained access to the systems it needs through the partners and records them as operating expenses.

Apple also said that a part of Capex will pay for servers using its own chips, not the merchant chips from companies such as NVIDIA, but as a special cloud calculation.

“I can say that a significant portion of the growth driver you see right now has been directed by some of our investments in AI.” He said.

Cook also underestimated any potential that AI -backed devices could threaten Apple’s iPhone Franchise. Apple’s former design guru Jony Ive met with Openai in a May 6.5 billion dollars Although Deal has not yet announced what its products are, what it is, or the cost.

“It’s hard to see a world in which the iPhone doesn’t live, Cook said Cook,” This doesn’t mean we don’t think of other things, but I think the devices are likely to be complementary devices, not substitutes. “

Cook also made it clear to investors and analysts in his call for Apple’s AI strategy.

“Our focus in terms of AI is to put AI features that are personally, special and smoothly integrated into the platform.” He said.

When asked that he thought that large language models, which are basic AI technology made by companies like anthropic and Openai, can be commodified, Cook refused to answer and kept some parts of the company’s strategy secret for now.

Cook said, “It is one of the deepest technologies of our lives to look at artificial intelligence,” Cook said. “It will significantly affect all devices.”
