Centenary celebrations of Polipalli Ammavari temple held as State festival

Centenary celebrations of Sri Polipalli Pydithalli Ammavari temple were held as a State festival in Rajamof Vizianagaram district on Sunday. Built in 1926 on the Rajam-Ramabhadrapuram road, the temple hosted a large number of pilgrims on this special day.
Local Rajam MLA Kondru Muralimohan offered pattuvastram To the god who presides over the state government. MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas, Vizianagaram MP Kalisetti Appala Naidu, Bobbili MLA Baby Nayana, MLC Kavali Greeshma and others offered prayers at the temple.
TDP senior leader and festival committee member Kondru Jagadish coordinated the arrangements. The police department has reviewed security arrangements in and around the temple premises.
More devotees are expected to attend the three-day festival on Monday and Tuesday.
