BBC at the scene of Russian strikes in Kyiv

At least five people, including a 12-year-old girl, were killed after Russia launched a massive wave of drone and missile attacks on Ukraine overnight, officials said.

Three of the dead were pulled from the rubble of a partially collapsed apartment building in Kiev, police said.

It was the third day in a row that deaths were reported in Ukraine as Moscow stepped up its attacks after a three-day ceasefire ended on Monday.
