Beed NCP leader Yogesh Kshirsagar joins BJP

Kshirsagar, the Beed assembly unit chief of the Ajit Pawar-led NCP, had submitted his resignation to the party’s state unit chief Sunil Tatkare a day ago.
Sources claimed that he felt sidelined as important policy decisions were taken by state unit general secretary and former MLA Amarsinh Pandit.
Kshirsagar had lost Beed’s 2024 assembly polls by a margin of 5,300 votes on an NCP ticket.
His father, Dr Bharatbhushan Kshirsagar, had previously served as the chairman of the Beed Municipal Council. His grandmother, the late Kesharbai Kshirsagar, was a three-term Member of Parliament from Beed Lok Sabha constituency and had also served as an MLA. His uncle, Jaidatt Kshirsagar, was a four-time MLA and held ministerial posts for nearly 15 years.
