Benedict Cumberbatch had a violent ten-minute argument with a fellow cyclist on Tuesday.
The 49-year-old Sherlock star confronted another cyclist after allegedly running a red light in London.
In the video, a man in red trousers can be seen calling the actor a “fool” and shouting “you’re lying” during the heated argument.
Benedict defends his opinion and accuses his fellow masked biker of “verbally abusing” him during the argument, which was watched by stunned fans.
A spectator who watched the events unfold at 5.30pm on Tuesday said he saw the actor’s cargo bike “jaywalking” in the bike lane and another cyclist following him before the fight began.
In one video, Benedict is seen abandoning his bike and walking across the road to confront the other cyclist, and the pair immediately get into a heated argument.

The other cyclist responds with a seemingly mocking cry and says, ‘Oh no, I verbally abused the man who broke the law many times,’ while Benedict admits, ‘I did that once.’
The accuser goes on to say ‘then you crossed a pedestrian crossing, you went through three lights’, to which the actor insists ‘no, I didn’t’.
An eyewitness said the argument lasted 10 minutes before the masked man left and Benedict posed for a selfie with two young fans.
The fan who filmed the clash said: ‘This was crazy. It was such flashy road rage that it almost felt staged. He called Benedict “deceived” and a “liar”.
‘Even though Benedict had a nervous breakdown, he managed to impress everyone who watched. They attacked each other about five times.
‘It was really busy and they closed the lane so no one could get through.
‘The masked man was obviously some kind of vigilante; He was really surprised to see that it was Benedict Cumberbatch, but it only increased his anger.

It is thought Benedict reported the incident to police on the island but did not press charges regarding the slap.
