Bengal CM holds second ‘janata darbar’, hears public grievances

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari held his second term on Monday, May 25, 2026.janata darbar‘, listens to people’s complaints and demands at the BJP’s state office in Salt Lake near Kolkata.
Hundreds of people, mostly job seekers, were seen queuing up at the party office since the morning to meet the Prime Minister.
These people were issued visiting slips while awaiting first-hand interaction with Mr. Adhikari, who decided to visit regularly. ‘Janata darbars’ (people’s courts) will hear citizens’ grievances after taking oath as Chief Minister of West Bengal on May 9.
Mr. Adhikari had held his first meeting.‘Janata darbar’ On May 18, we listened to the public’s demands and complaints.
A large number of people, including students and locals, participated in the interaction and spoke to the Prime Minister individually behind closed doors, conveying complaints ranging from local civic issues to allegations of ‘syndicate raj’.
