Benidorm no longer safe for children, says British man who lives there – warning families against visiting Spanish holiday resort
A British man living in Benidorm told families to stay away from the tourist center during summer holidays because it is ‘unsafe’ for children.
Travelers from the UK to the party city during peak months make up around 50 per cent of all hotel guests.
And most of them are families with young children looking for a cheap getaway.
However, 25-year-old Harry Poulton encourages those with young children to cancel their flights and go elsewhere as he does not find the city suitable for them.
In a clip that has garnered 118,000 views and over a thousand likes, she reveals what makes her think Benidorm is no place for kids.

‘It’s nine o’clock […] I walk the streets of Benidorm in the morning and casually mind my own business. [there’s] A woman pulling down her pants.
‘[She’s] He’s probably been drunk since last night and started pooping on the side of the street. No words, no jokes.
‘He takes out the tissue from his bag and wipes it. ‘I can’t believe what I just saw.’
Although Harry did not film the awkward situation to protect the woman’s privacy, he wanted to highlight how wrong people are when they say Benidorm is a great place for kids.
He said: ‘This is out of the question when there are drunk people pooping on the side of the street.
‘There is such a thing as a toilet. It used to be [safe for kids] but not right now. I don’t think Benidorm is a good place for kids anymore. Especially the New City; ‘The Old Town is a little different.’
That’s not the only thing Brighton’s Harry claims to have seen to bolster his point.
In another clip, which received 43,000 views and hundreds of likes, she allegedly saw a man wearing “basically nothing” in broad daylight.
He said: ‘So is Benidorm really good for kids? This question comes to mind when people walk around with basically nothing.
‘And if you’re wondering, was it his? [area] Is it shown? Unfortunately. I don’t think it’s good for children if things like this happen.
‘I wouldn’t want my child walking around and seeing this, absolutely not. ‘I understand people go out to have a good time, but perhaps you could also consider your clothing choices.’
In the third video, which has reached 17,000 views, he further explains his opinion.

Harry added: ‘I think Benidorm has changed quite a bit in the last few years.
‘I think Benidorm appeals to a wider audience now; A lot of people go on bachelorette parties.
‘And when there are people walking around with barely any clothes on, it begs the question of whether Benidorm is really suitable for younger ages.
‘The strip area and main English part of Benidorm is not the best place to take your kids.
‘There are so many places around Benidorm that I think are perfect for kids; Old Town, water park, zoo, Terri Mitica – these are all things that benefit your children.’
Harry, who has more than 63,000 followers, warned all tourists of all ages to avoid the three areas.
He says to avoid areas known as the Yellow Brick Road, Pueblo Street and Mugger’s Street.
