Bhagwat Pitches for Maximum Three Children, Minimum Three Languages

New Delhi: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat said that on Thursday, all Indians should know at least three languages, including the tongue of their mother tongue, the language of the states, and a connection language that cannot be foreign to the whole country. He also said that every Indian family should have three children to keep the population under sufficient and control.
“India’s population policy 2.1 (average number of children) proposes a civilization 2.1 (average number of children), which basically means three children. But we need to limit it to three.” He said.
He said that all Indo-Origin languages are national languages and that there should be no dispute on it.
“There must be a connection language for communication and processing, but it should not be stranger,” he said.
“Everyone should decide the common connection language together,” he said.
Bhagwat also said that RSS is not against English or another language, and that people should be free to learn as many languages as possible.
“When I was in the eighth grade, my father made me read the prisoner of Oliver Twist and Zen.
“We don’t have to be in English, but learning English is not damaged. He said it has no bad effect as a language.
He also said that Sanskrit language knowledge is very important to understand India and its traditions.
However, Bhagwat said it was against the forced imposition of anything in the education system.
