Big tech is obsessed with hiding its data centre emissions

You’d be hard-pressed to find evidence of overconfidence on the scale you get from the tech industry. Right now, their main mission seems to be to eliminate the huge demand for new energy on suburban fringes; Any very reasonable concerns that arise next are waved away with empty promises of technological advances to offset it. Everything will be fine.
