‘Karen’ in headscarf tries to snatch man’s phone as he recorded aftermath of crash involving her Mercedes G-Wagon

A brazen woman tried to snatch the mobile phone of a man who was filming the events after his white Mercedes G-Wagon crashed into the car in front of him.

His complete meltdown began when he realized the unsuspecting man was recording the fender-bending scene near the Ridgeway Plaza shopping mall in Mississauga, Canada.

Footage obtained by pop culture outlet 6ixBuzz TV and shared on Sunday shows the woman’s luxury SUV crashing into the back of a gray BMW X5.

It turned out that the woman had rear-ended the car, leaving a dent in the X5 while the G-Wagon was barely damaged.

As the gray car started to drive away, the crazy ‘Karen’, in a black shirt and tan headscarf, started screaming when she realized the scene had been captured on video.

‘I’m sorry, you can’t do this,’ he said from beyond the camera frame. ‘Just give me your phone… Delete it now!’

A few seconds later, she came face to face with the person recording, now dramatically increasing her antics to get him to stop the video.

‘Give me your phone and delete it immediately. ‘Show me,’ he asked, pointing his finger at the device.

‘I’ll call the cops!’ he said, as the stunned onlooker calmly told him to take his hands off himself and his phone.

‘Call whoever you want, don’t touch me,’ he claimed.

A young woman, apparently the daughter of the authorized G-Wagon driver, tried to intervene and distract him from the self-inflicted conflict.

‘Mom, stop… come stop,’ said the embarrassed girl, wearing a skin-coloured vest, as she grabbed her mother’s wrist.

But the disgruntled driver now stammered on with his argument as the man said he approached him, effectively put himself in front of the camera and told him he was ‘recording an accident, not you’.

Finally the exasperated daughter said, ‘Okay, let’s sit in the car’ and dragged her mother away, now seemingly confused and not knowing what to say.

The woman’s public spree went viral on social media, with the images spread widely on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X.

Many viewers were stunned by her bold move to reach for her cell phone.

“His arm was going to break off the moment he grabbed the phone,” one user wrote on Instagram.

‘Mum you’re making a scene,’ one joked, referring to her clearly embarrassed daughter caught in the crossfire.

Someone on X echoed the same sentiment: ‘Daughter is ashamed of her mother’s stupid behavior. Mom thinks your shit doesn’t stink.’
