Bill Gates to be interviewed by House Oversight on June 10

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates will sit down for an interview about Jeffrey Epstein House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on June 10, according to a person familiar with the situation who spoke anonymously because the appearance was not disclosed.
Gates is one of several people who agreed to be interviewed by the Oversight panel about their dealings with Epstein, the notorious sex offender who killed himself in a New York prison in August 2019.
In February, Gates apologized to Gates Foundation employees for his relationship with Epstein and admitted that he had affairs with two Russian women whom Epstein learned: Wall StreetJournal has been reported previously. According to the newspaper, Gates said at the same event, “I didn’t do anything illegal. I didn’t see anything illegal.”
His interview will take place a day after the committee planned an interview with Lesley Groff, Epstein’s former executive assistant, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Another billionaire Ted WaittHe agreed to testify on April 30, according to a person familiar. Waitt was one of the founders of the Gateway computer company.
Tova ChristmasA federal corrections officer who was on duty at the prison when Epstein committed suicide agreed to be interviewed May 18, a person familiar said.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is scheduled to appear before the committee for his own interview about Epstein on May 6.
