Binky Felstead is called out by ANOTHER bakery owner who claims she was ghosted by the reality star after making her wedding and birthday cake for free – and says she even refused to pay for her travel

Binky Felstead was called out by another bakery owner who claimed he was haunted by the reality star’s ghost after she baked his wedding and birthday cake for free.
Earlier this week, Reshmi Bennett, 42, who owns luxury cake business Anges de Sucre in London, claimed on social media that Binky’s team asked her to make her son Wilder’s third birthday cake in exchange for an Instagram post.
Now another bakery owner has commented on Reshmi’s post, claiming that she shared her own ‘free cake’ with the Made In Chelsea star.
The owner of Funfetti London shared a lengthy comment detailing how Binky DM’d her in 2021, asking the baker to make her wedding and birthday cake in exchange for posts on her Instagram account and being featured on Hello! magazine wedding spread.
The baker accepted both luxury cakes and later claimed the star outshined him despite trying to reach her for months, with Binky promising to contact her and tag her on social media.
She even claimed that when she charged Binky £75 to deliver the cakes to the star’s home, he refused and said he wanted ‘all inclusive’ because ‘he usually charges £2k for a story and £5k for a grid post’.

Commenting on Reshmi’s now viral post, the baker said: ‘RESHMIIIIII I WANT TO SCREAM! I actually fell in love with Binky Felstead’s BS in 2021…
‘She reached out to me on Instagram saying how beautiful my cakes were, then she said she was getting married and wanted both a wedding cake and a birthday cake for her daughter.
‘At the time, my cake business was just a side hustle. I was shocked, flattered, and thought this could be a growth opportunity.
‘He took my number, called me straight away, lots of compliments, lots of ‘I love this’ and ‘this is so impressive’… we discussed designs and ideas. Deep down I knew he wanted something free in exchange for ‘exposure’… but I was younger and naive.’
She continued: ‘All I asked for was for travel: £25 for a birthday cake and £50 for a wedding cake.
‘The answer? “I usually charge £2k for a story and £5k for a grid post… so I really would like to see everything included”.
‘Still… I thought about the promised exposure, the mention, even being featured in Hello magazine… so I accepted. I took an unpaid day off from work, went to her house on a hot summer day with 9 layers of sponge cake and buttercream, and baked a full wedding cake in her kitchen.
‘At one point I wondered if the florist, the decorators, the caterers were also working for ‘exposure’… (I was so confident in 2021)’
The baker finished his post as follows: ‘Before he left he thanked me, said he liked it, promised a tag and said his team would contact you. tumbleweed I followed up in July…nothing. Again in October… nothing.
The owner of Funfetti London shared a lengthy comment detailing how Binky DMd her in 2021, asking the baker to make her wedding and birthday cake.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the baker shared a video of the 2021 wedding from her home, where she baked Binky’s lavish wedding cake.
The baker shared the video of the cake he made for Binky in 2021 on his professional Instagram account.
‘Finally I got a response: “I’m not sure how I missed this! I’ll get your hi pics and I can post that too – send me your invoice!”
‘That’s what I did… So guess what? Nadaaaaaa. BIG lesson learned. Now whenever I hear his name, I just get chills. Exposure pays no bills. ‘Without stopping.’
The Daily Mail has contacted Binky’s representatives for comment on the new claim.
In a viral post shared on Instagram on Thursday, baker Reshmi shared a collection of screenshots showing exchanges between her and Binky’s team, in which she was asked for a free custom-made birthday cake and offered ‘exposure’ as the only form of payment.
Reshmi had previously made headlines for her anger at influencers asking for free cakes, and her social media was filled with posts from the baker making it clear that she did not accept “exposure” as payment.
But it seems his message was overlooked by Binky, who asked Binky’s personal assistant Reshmi to bake a cake for his youngest son Wilder’s third birthday.
On Instagram on Thursday, Reshmi shared a collection of screenshots showing Binky’s team asking for a ‘gifted’ yellow train cake along with an ‘Instagram post collaboration’ in return.
Reshmi went so far as to set up a fake GoFundMe page asking for donations of £1.4 million for the cake, citing celebrity Binky’s huge online following. He is also thought to have a net worth of £1.4 million.
She had initially omitted Binky’s name from the emails when Reshmi shared the screenshots, but later named the star in a later post.
A representative for Binky told the Daily Mail: ‘This was a standard counter-investigation in which Binky’s PA offered exposure on social media in exchange for a birthday cake.

‘Binky was not directly involved in these email exchanges and is currently on a family holiday. We fully understand that this type of collaboration is not for everyone and we respect your decision to decline.
‘However, it is disappointing to see a private and friendly investigation being shared publicly, and contra agreements such as this are widely used in this industry and are often mutually beneficial.’
The original form request sent to Reshmi’s workplace read: ‘Yellow train cake! We would also like to cooperate [redacted] ‘He has 1.4 million Instagram followers.’
In response to the request, Reshmi shared that she tried to convert this into a sale because she asked for the client’s budget, zip code, and image references.
But Binky’s team backtracked, replying: ‘Thanks for your message. Want to collaborate on a cake? As if a cake would be given as a gift in exchange for a story. [redacted]Instagram?’
Rather than opting for a ‘sassy’ response, which she said would be Reshmi’s typical approach, she expressed her disappointment and referenced Binky’s ‘wealth’ before suggesting it would be a better look for the reality star if he paid for it.
Binky’s team responded by saying he ‘raised a valid point about optics’ and that they would speak to the star about whether they were happy to pay before going back to Reshmi.
It was at this point that Reshmi took to Instagram to share screenshots of their communication.
She later received an email from Binky’s team who was “disheartened” after seeing her post; They insisted that the goal here was never to “get a free pie.”

They added: ‘Binky’s Instagram content focuses heavily on his children and he gets a lot of engagement from this type of content, so this can often have a very positive impact on businesses in terms of enabling them to reach audiences they wouldn’t normally be able to reach.’
Binky’s team concluded the email by apologizing for their contact, stating that ‘this type of partnership is not appreciated by you’ and finishing by insisting that they did not constitute any criminal offence.
Following the response from Binky’s team, Reshmi created the GoFundMe page with a Made In Chelsea-inspired yellow train cake produced by AI.
In her post, she wrote: ‘We recently received a lovely request from the Binky Felstead team for a very special cake; A yellow train design for his soon-to-be 3-year-old son.
‘We were really excited. Kids’ cakes are some of our favorite cakes to make, and this one looked delightful for such a popular reality TV star, too. But there was one small problem… The recommended payment method was an Instagram story.
‘We now fully understand that times are tough, especially for influencers. Binky may have been forced to rearrange a sponsored holiday to Dubai at short notice and instead traveled to the US to spend Easter with his family under great pressure.
‘We also made sure that her 1.4 million followers are very engaged, especially when her posts feature her children… because, as we all know, the internet is a very healthy place where there is absolutely no harm in anything.
‘Unfortunately our energy supplier is very old school and continues to insist on being paid in real money rather than display or participation. We tried to explain but they do not accept Instagram tags as legal tender.
‘So we thought we would appeal to Binky’s 1.4 million followers in the spirit of collaboration. If each person contributed just £1 we could create the most incredible yellow train cake imaginable and make our energy supplier happy at the same time.’
