The Daily Mail understands that settlement talks took place in two adjoining courtrooms on the same floor of the courthouse.

The actress was seen quickly leaving the courtroom and heading straight into the elevator with her lawyer, Michael Gottleb.

Baldoni looked relieved as he walked out five minutes later. The 41-year-old was seen holding hands, smiling and chatting with his wife Emily.

A source told the Daily Mail that no deal had been made and they were due to appear in court again tomorrow.

Baldoni, 42, and Lively, 38, arrived at a New York City courthouse in matching outfits early Wednesday for the blockbuster It Ends With Us show.
