Blake Lively has made her first public appearance since being bitterly rejected at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Madison Square Garden wedding.

Smiling from ear to ear, Lively failed to show any signs of the possible heartbreak she’s endured since her former best friend got married without a gift.
Once close friends, Lively’s absence from the wedding showed how much her legal battle with Justin Baldoni had hurt her friendship with Swift.
Swift, who is the goddaughter of Lively’s three daughters, reportedly fell out with the actress after she was dragged into a legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
A source has since vented to the Daily Mail about Lively’s anger over the rejection, which suggests she and Swift have a chance to patch things up in the future.

In the days after the wedding, Lively and Reynolds were spotted enjoying a day off in her native Canada.
Lively previously filed a lawsuit against Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios production company in December 2024, alleging libel and sexual harassment on the set of It Ends With Us, in which they starred together and which Baldoni also directed.
Baldoni retaliated the following month with a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, and the New York Times, which first published her allegations.
All parties in the cases have denied the allegations made against them.
In October 2025, a judge dismissed Baldoni’s lawsuit, and in May of this year, after a judge dismissed most of Lively’s claims, Baldoni agreed to settle the case.

Swift, whose popular song My Tears Ricochet was featured on the soundtrack of the 2024 film It Ends With Us, in which Baldoni starred alongside Lively, was drawn into the rollercoaster saga last year when Baldoni filed a $400 million countersuit accusing Lively and her husband of defamation. The suit was later thrown out.
Explosive text messages in Baldoni’s complaint revealed that Lively referred to the superstar singer and her husband as “my dragons” in an attempt to scare her over the ill-fated movie.
A source told DailyMail.com in January: ‘Friends also think Blake’s “I’m Khaleesi and like her I have dragons” message to Justin was unpleasant and unnecessary because it was actually used as an intimidation tactic. It was called some sort of pet or possession.’
Since then, Swift has reportedly been trying to move on from both the scandal and her friendship with Lively.
These efforts included removing Lively from her inner circle and having Kelce unfollow Reynolds on Instagram.
