Why are Indian players flying separately to Dubai? A look at BCCI’s new travel strategy

India’s Asian Cup 2025 will jump the traditional parliament in Mumbai and will go directly to Dubai. BCCI states that this unusual travel arrangement aims to increase comfort and provide better preparation.

This time, the Indian Cricket Team is approaching the upcoming Asian Cup in a new way. The 15 -member team led by Surekumar Yadav will gather in Mumbai and travel to Dubai separately instead of leaving as a group. The players will join the camp on 4 September and the tournament starts on September 9th.

In a break from tradition, the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) decided that each player would fly directly from their cities. This change is expected to reduce unnecessary travel and simplify logistics for jackers before a hectic program.

“All players will come to Dubai until the evening of September 4, and the first NETS session will be held at the ICC Academy on September 5th. Logistics will be allowed to fly to Dubai about the anonymity conditions.”

“Obviously, a few of them will travel from Mumbai, but he doesn’t want him to come to Mumbai before some of them and then fly to Dubai. In any case, Dubai is a short -term flight compared to other international flights.”

Program for India’s 2025 Asian Cup

India begins the Asian Cup against the UAE in Dubai on September 10th. Then on September 14, they play Pakistan in the same place. Last group games against Oman on September 19 and after that four super scenes begin.

The team will start practicing on September 5 and give players four days to prepare before their first matches. This plan also gives the jackers time to rest after playing in home games before the tournament.

Players should balance domestic games and the Asian Cup tasks

Some Asian Cup team members are currently playing in local games. Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana are playing for the northern region against the eastern region in the quarterfinals of Duleep Trophy. At the same time, Kuleep Yadav plays against Central Zone in a game against the North East region.

These games keep players in the form, but they will soon focus on the Asian Cup when they go to Dubai. BCCI is watching how much they play to make sure they are resting for this big tournament.

There will be no extra dish pots in the Dubai camp

People thought the waiting players Praja Krishna and Washington Sundar would participate in the team as net dish pottery. However, a BCCI person said it would not happen. The team wants to keep the group small and does not want to add extra people.

India’s strange travel plans are curious about people, but the authorities say it’s a good idea because Dubai is close and players don’t have much time. The team thinks that they will be successful in the 2025 Asian Cup, traveling less and focusing on preparation.
